I am trying to figure out how to pay city wage tax and I've emailed the Philadelphia tax office a few times. Most recently, the tax form system was down so I emailed, explaining my situation and asking what to do.

Here is the response I got:

Would be have to do so, need your account number, which is your SSn. IF RESPONDING, SEND TO, revenue@phila.gov , AS REPLYING TO THE ATTACHED PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS WILL DELAY RESPONSE TIME .

Um? I don't really want to email them my SSn, especially because I don't even understand what they are saying.

I sent it to Dave and this was his response:
